I’m an IT professional and being in a sitting job I struggle with few physical discomforts, neck & body pain being the prominent one. Along with medication I was guided to join physiotherapy sessions or yoga sessions. I have been part of Devyani’s Yoga Urja for over a month and half now, and with regular practice I already feel the complaints about neck/body pain drowning away. Not only that but I also feel changes in my overall situation (improved calmness, tolerance to pain). All the 6 sessions of the pranayam workshop were very informative. I Got to know all the Pranayam in detail. Also really good information on the Dos and Don't and its effects. It is good to have a teacher like Devyani who can explain in the easiest way with proper techniques with personal follow-up.
I never knew anything about pranayam before this class. This class gave me a better understanding about pranayam and its benefits. It was a well guided session. Never would I have thought a few months ago that I would be such a huge yoga fan. And this is all because of Devyani. I had a great learning experience from her. She is sincere to her work, punctual and explains in detail about the exercise and its benefits during sessions. These training sessions have enhanced my way of life in numerous ways. The most important thing I learnt was the sitting position, my Posture. She guided me to sit properly which helped me in improving my back pain to a large extent. Thank you Devyani for allowing me to breathe. As simple as it sounds, breathing is the one thing that I carry around most with me off the mat. I would recommend her to others as well. Prior to beginning the training sessions with Devyani, I had many health issues, physical and psychological as well. I had to take few tablets daily. There came a time when I had accepted that, these issues would never leave. I started training under your guidance in January 2018 and even after completing 12 sessions (1 month), I felt that it is quite impossible to get rid of those issues. However, from the second month, I started getting relief. I realized the yoga and meditation practice I was doing under your able guidance started showing results and I started feeling better. Strength, physical as well as mental, increased and most importantly, I don’t require any kind of tablet now. I would like to thank you for all the efforts you have put in so far in improving my health.

Devyani is extremely skilled and knowledgeable about Yoga. She also gives good tips on how to follow a good diet. She is good at giving personal attention even in a group which helped us a lot. Hope to continue yoga with her in the future.
My wife and I have been getting Yoga training from Devyani. She is a great teacher & motivator who looks to stretch your limits She is very versatile and impromptu in taking asanas. She finds innovative ways to keep us active by changing the sequences and tries different things regularly which makes every session interesting. She strongly believes in Surya-namaskars and that one she takes regularly.
Both my wife and I have seen positive impact, since we started Yoga. Earlier, I used to get throat infections routinely, but with regular Yoga practice it hasn’t occurred yet. Similarly my wife used to have frequent cough and cold infections, which has gone down too. There is a significant improvement in digestion. Overall, there is much better flexibility & body feels more active & light after yoga.
Both of us are able to do many more asanas since we started and also have better body postures overall.
Yoga is not just physical exercise but mind exercise too. Devyani repeats this mantra all the time. All of us tend to carry stress, anxiety unconsciously in many parts of the body. She spots it and tries to reduce/eliminate it. She also gives you small stretching exercises that you can do in office quickly. That way, you aren't doing Yoga only during sessions but throughout the day.
Now, we are able to Jal-Neti & Sutra-Neti, which has taken us so much out of our comfort-zone.
Overall, we are extremely happy with Yoga training & always look forward to our sessions.
